Although I find killing a cat very wrong…I don’t think you should have to go to prison for it.It’s an animal,not a person.The crazy libs have their priorities all wrong.How many of you read that story over your chicken dinner?

and the world continues to laugh at us. you can rape someone, murder someone with a car, and a whole sleu of crimes that will ruin someone’s days and their families for the rest of their days yet killing a cat will cost you more in prison. i still cannot fathom the condition of this country. when is it going to end? when a cat dies from dashing in front of a car will the driver go to prison? if a stray dog kills your cat will someone be blamed?

It wasn’t just killing the cat. He told his girlfriends daughter that he was going to kill her mother. The whole act was sadistic and his killing the cat in that way proved that he was a serious threat to the girlfriend. We do not know his priors either, but considering the sentence, my guess is he had at least one violent one. I think he also needs serious counciling. While he got 2 years, how much time do you think he is going to do? Maybe a few months?
