Amy Winehouse’s spouse, Blake Fielder-Civil, will be spending some more time making new friends in jail. He has just been sentenced to serve another 27 months after copping to beating up bar manager James King. Then the dumbass offered King 400K to keep quiet about it!

It’s interesting that wife Amy has been pleading with anyone showing up at her concerts to “Free Blake” (like they have any pull with the Powers That Be) but she was a no-show at the sentencing.

Christian Bale

If the allegations are true, Christian Bale, the star of the Dark Knight has been behaving more like the Prince of Darkness. Bale has apparently been arrested for assaulting his mother, age 61, and his 40-year-old sister.

Tom Cruise is in talks to reprise his role as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell in Top Gun II. This time, he will be a Top Gun instructor dealing with a cocky female pilot.

Has anyone else noticed after watching the first version, oh, about 20 times, that the plot is a little weak and the flick is mostly about eye candy and fast, expensive toys? Not that eye candy is a bad thing…I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have reached a settlement in their child custody case, which spares them the ordeal of a trial next month. It also means that those of us looking forward to hearing the gory details of Lifestyles of the Rich and Clueless will miss out.

The money Brit spent hiring legal eagle Laura Wasser was apparently well spent, since Brit will get to spend more time with her kids. Here’s more on the story:

At about 8 p.m. PT, a final settlement in the Kevin Federline-Britney Spears custody case was signed. All parties have agreed to the following: Kevin will retain sole legal and physical custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James. Britney will continue to have visitation rights which may increase over time. The agreement will be presented to the court in the morning for approval by the commissioner.

Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault

The upcoming wedding actress Salma Hayek and French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault is a no-go. The couple, who had planned to wed in a lavish ceremony next year have decided not to wed.

Parents to a daughter, Valentina, born last September, the couple issued a simple statement through Hayek’s rep:

“We are sad to announce the engagement of Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault has been canceled…There will be no further statement.”

Guess that means the rest of us will have to draw our own conclusions about what went wrong.
