Tom Cruise is in talks to reprise his role as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell in Top Gun II. This time, he will be a Top Gun instructor dealing with a cocky female pilot.

Has anyone else noticed after watching the first version, oh, about 20 times, that the plot is a little weak and the flick is mostly about eye candy and fast, expensive toys? Not that eye candy is a bad thing…I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed.
