The fourth movie about the swashbuckling archaeologist raked in $56 million for Thursday and Friday- not such a shabby opening. “These are very solid numbers, no question about it. The fact that earnings went up on the second day is a good sign,” Media by Numbers Paul Dergarabedian said. “Whether it’s on pace to beat “Pirates’” numbers from last Memorial Day remains to be seen.” Last year’s big Memorial Day weekend film was “Pirates of the Carribbean: At World’s End”, grossing a record breaking $153 million.

I’ll tell you what, for a 60-something, Harrison Ford is looking real good. Indiana Jones is still a very sexy guy.
