Lindsay Lohan has some ’splainin’ to do about some jewelry that she borrowed from a swanky Beverly Hills store.

XIV Karats loaned La Lohan the bling a couple of months ago and when they asked for the gems back, she confessed that she didn’t have them.

“Lindsay claimed that they had been stolen from her safe,” a source revealed to RadarOnline.com “They’ve disappeared. XIV are NOT happy about it.”

Los Angeles Police are asking for the public’s help to find two would-be burglars who attempted to break into Lindsay Lohan’s home.

“While the driver stayed inside, the passenger suspect stepped out of the vehicle, walked through a gate and entered the backyard of the residence. nvestigators believed that the suspect tried to gain entry by using an unknown type tool to pry open a back window and door. After the unsuccessful attempt, the suspects drove off.”

Lilo’s place only looks like it was tossed by burglars; it seems that the mess police found inside was hers. You would think if picking up after herself is that difficult, she would have people for that.

Lindsay Lohan says that she and galpal Sam Ronson are “taking a break.” Lindsay told. E! News: “We are taking a brief break so I can focus on myself.”

Now I’m confused….At what point did LiLo stop focusing on herself?

Lindsay Lohan blabbed to Interview that she doesn’t understand why she isn’t getting offered many film roles as Scarlett Johansson. She thinks it may have something to do with the “mess” she has made of her life. (Ya think?)

“This is what I asked for, and in this day and age that’s what actually goes on. But what hurts me the most is that I work just as hard as any other actress around my age, like Scarlett Johansson, but I just don’t get the opportunities that they get because people are so distracted by the mess that I created in my life. But that doesn’t mean it’s going to last forever.”

Wonder if she means the distraction or the mess she has made of her life…..

Lindsay Lohan has yet another half-sister, and she wants the world to know how unhappy she is about it. In true 21st century style, she has shared her thoughts and feelings on her MySpace page. In a post entitled, “Random Thoughts,” she shared the following 411:

My father just let my family and [me] know, amongst other [things] that he had another child after my little sister Aliana. Or maybe he had it before Aliana?? Either way, he cheated on my mother and that really sucks.

Dad, aka Michael Lohan, denies the claim and says that he is about 99 percent sure that the post was written by LiLo’s galpal, Samantha Ronson, which makes perfect sense, ‘cos Lindsay isn’t capable of stirring the pot by herself.

Lindsay Lohan has been branded a “fur hag” by PETA, and not because of any extracurricular activities she gets up to with her galpal Samantha Ronson. An activist targeted the actress as she and Ronson were entering the VIP Room Theater in Paris.

Linds was doused with flour, and the club owner helped to brush it off her blue sequined dress and, uh, black fur.

The Fur Hag got back at PETA in true 21st century fashion by posting the following in MySpace: “I think there are plenty of families that could have used that flour for a meal.” She’s all heart.

Lindsay Lohan didn’t show the best judgment ever when she referred to president-elect Barack Obama as the country’s “first colored president” in a TV interview.

Linds stuck her foot in it during an interview with Maria Menounos taped for Access Hollywood when she was asked to comment on the recent election and said, “It was really exciting. It’s an amazing feeling. It’s our first colored president.”

Good one, Lindsay. Has anyone told you that it’s 2008 and we don’t refer to African-Americans in that way anymore?

Miley Cyrus won’t get insulted if you compare her to Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan.  She blabbed to German reporters recently about what a compliment it is be compared to these two successful ladies. At least she hopes that is the case:

I just think that they are super successful, and hopefully when I am compared to them, it’s career-wise because they have all been super successful and had amazing careers.

Someone should tell Miley that having to make a comeback before the age of 30 is nothing to be proud of.

Lindsay Lohan’s dad wants a do-over when it comes to comments he made about her partner, Samantha Ronson. Last month, he called LiLo’s DJ lover “disgusting” in one of a series of e-mails where he left no doubt about his feelings.

Now he tells New York magazine that it was an error in judgment, saying “In the past, I felt that the best way to get to [Lindsay] was to speak out publicly and it was the wrong choice. Family matters should be kept private. I’ve learned that now.”

He also said that as a Christian, he shouldn’t make judgments about other people. Including the chick doing his daughter. Amen.

Samantha Ronson has let it slip that she hopes to marry Lindsay Lohan before the end of the year. DJ Sam made the announcement while spinning at the Chateau Marmont club recently, telling those in attendance that “by the end of this year, my love will be Mrs. Ronson.”

No word from Linds on the upcoming nuptials so far.
