Lance Armstrong

Lance Armstrong, who is currently in the middle of flogging his bio, Lance, which will be published in July, has spilled the beans on why his engagement to Sheryl Crow went south: she wanted to get married and have children. (The nerve of that woman!)

“She wanted marriage, she wanted children; and not that I didn’t want that, but I didn’t want that at that time because I had just gotten out of a marriage, I’d just had kids,” he says. “Yet, we’re up against her biological clock – that pressure is what cracked it.”

So, why get engaged in the first place? Sheryl went on to adopt a son, Wyat, in May of 2007, and Lance and current squeeze Anna Hansen are expecting a visit from the stork in June, so it’s all good, I guess.

Lance Armstong, 37, and Anna Hansen, his 28-year-old gapal are expecting a baby in June. The new arrival will be Lance’s fourth child and Anna’s first. Lance has a son, Luke, age 9, and twin daughters, Isabella and Grace, age 7, with ex-wife Kristin.

Lance Armstrong has set the record straight on his, un,  prowess with the ladies. He may have won the Tour de France seven times, but he doesn’t have nearly the same kind of stamina between the sheets.

Lance shared this with Men’s Journal:

“I had sex if I had the energy.”

“I wasn’t one of those guys who believed in the myths about the guy losing his chi.

“The fact is that if you are riding your bike six, seven hours a day, you are not a sex champion. You’re just not. You have fatigue, low testosterone and a lower libido,” Armstrong admitted.

A little too much information for us, Lance, but it might explain why your relationships don’t tend to last long.
