Jordin Sparks

Jordin Sparks came to the defense of the Jonas Brothers at the VMAs last night when host Russell Brand took a swipe at the young performers for wearing purity rings.

Here’s Jordin’s very direct comment:

“I just have one thing to say about promise rings. It’s not bad to wear a promise ring, because not everybody – guy or girl – wants to be a slut.”

No need to wonder what Jordin really thinks about this issue!

If you can’t get enough of the Jonas Brothers, then you will be thrilled at the news that they will be starring in their own TV series. Joe Jonas spilled the beans to Elle magazine:

“It’s going to be about us as a band but dealing with normal things like trying to take out the trash and not get hounded by fans. It’s going to be a funny show, and it’s going to be a great cast.”

Sounds exciting.
