On second thought …

Jon “hey look at me making out with some hot chick in your favorite magazine” Gosselin is rethinking his divorce with soon-to-be ex-wife Kate. Dude has apparently stopped the divorce process, which was expected to be finished by late November, In Touch Weekly has reported. The tabloid fixture learned that Kate had suffered a breakdown taping a TV pilot this month and “he knew he was responsible for her suffering.” (Awfully big ego, we say.)

Well, Dude did say he “despised” Kate during a Nightline interview on ABC. Oh and he has a propensity of making out with chicks while nearby photographers click away, so OK. Sounds like you might be right about this one, JG.

“He woke up one morning, looked in the mirror and didn’t like the reflection,” Jon’s attorney, Mark Jay Heller, tells In Touch. “He realized he’d made some bad choices.” 

Now we here at Glamorati think it’s a mighty big coinkidink that his sudden doubt comes just one day after TLC, the channel where Jon & Kate Plus 8 appears, announced that the show will now be called Kate Plus 8. Ouchie.

Perhaps it’s the Money Train Jon Gosselin wants to get on.

Jon and Kate Plus Eight is no more, according to TLC.

The show is being renamed “Kate Plus Eight” to reflect the fact that she really doesn’t want him around anymore.

Here’s the official word from Eileen O’Neil, president and general manager: “It’s not a huge shift, but it’s reflective of where the show was already going.”

“Jon’s going to be involved in the show,” she said, adding that he will be seen less often than before. TLC retains an exclusive arrangement with him, as well as the rest of the family, O’Neill said.

We predict that Jon’s involvement will be mostly behind the scenes…..

Jon Gosselin figured that he had done his part to keep the world populated and had a vasectomy after his sextuplets were born. He has used the fact that he had the procedure as part of his pick-up routine, according to the National Enquirer.

Jon’s former babysitter, 22-year-old Stephanie Santoro, a single mom who claims she had an affair with Jon, says that Jon told her about the surgery when she expressed concern that he would get her pregnant, too. He told her that he had been snipped and she had nothing to worry about. Uh, she still should have insisted that he use a condom, vasectomy or no vasectomy.

More fuel is being added to the Jon and Kate Gosselin divorce fire. Stephanie Santoro, the Gosselin’s nanny has admitted that she was doing more than just taking care of the kids while she was working for the Jon and Kate Plus Eight family.

In Touch Weekly has published an interview where Santoro shared these embarrassing details: “Their steamy fling began one night with an innocent phone call where Jon asked her to come over. Santoro says that Jon asked if she could give him a massage, and then he was like, ‘my turn.’ While we were sitting there, he said, ‘Well, I guess we can kiss just once.’”

Santoro says that night, Gosselin told her: “Whatever you do, don’t fall in love with me, because it’s going to be impossible for me not to fall in love with you.”

Jon Gosselin has taken yet another swipe at estranged wife Kate. Now he is saying that Kate refused to go to marriage counseling. He went on his own, and racked up a bill for $22,000!

Jon’s comments are going to be aired on Good Morning America on Tuesday morning. He had plenty to say about the end of their marriage. “”I don’t trust her anymore. I was abused … I was beaten down … I’m not going back to that life style.”

He claims the nail in the coffin that ended the marriage was when he finally grabbed himself a backbone and stood up to Kate. He told her that he wanted to go out with friends. On the one hand, you can understand Kate not wanting to be stuck at home with the eight munchkins while Jon parties with friends, but you would think that every 10 years or so, the guy should have a bit of freedom……

Jon Gosselin, of Jon and Kate Plus Eight fame has struck back against his estranged wife by sitting down for an interview to be broadcast on Good Morning America and Primetime Family Secrets next week.

Among other revelations, Jon says that Kate was verbally abusive. He describes being called a “lame fish” and being told he wasn’t going anywhere when he was taking care of his eight kids while Kate was off traveling the world on book tours. He also claims that Kate put him down a lot – a revelation that should come as no surprise to anyone who has watched the show.

The TLC network has had it up to here with Jon Gosselin, the Ed Hardy-lovin’ co-star of its reality series hit “Jon & Kate Plus 8.” The channel has essentially prohibited Jon from shilling for designer Ed Hardy, whose wares he wears on the high-rated TV show, Radaronline.com reports. Just last week, the suits began blurring shirt logos and now it’s officially policy.

“TLC feels like they are being used by Jon,” a well-informed source told the Web site.”They want to send him a message loud and clear.” It’s deafening, really.

So now Jon has a crappy relationship with both the Kate-ster AND TLC. Batting a thousand Jonny! Heck, tensions got so out of control for the exes that Dude had to call the cops on wifey. Harsh? Had to? We’re wondering what you think.

UPDATED Aug. 15: Jon & Kate met up at a park on Friday, looking a bit tense while their children appeared wierded out by the encounter, US Weekly magazine reports. Part of the tension between the two maybe Jon’s selection of a 23-year-old babysitter with whom he purportedly had a sexy night with on Aug. 1, the mag reports. END OF UPDATE

Not only is America privy to the ebb and flow drama that is Jon and Kate Gosselin’s marriage, but now so are police in the Wernersville, Pa. area. Authorities were called Thursday evening to the former couple’s home after the two engaged in a verbal argument, People.com reports. So all of a sudden Chez Gosselin turns into Jon and Kate Plus 8 Plus 8 cops.

When law enforcement arrived, Jon alleges, his estranged wife turned on the tear spigot just for cops. Kate tried to enter the home, but her ex wouldn’t let her past the gate. “She tried to ‘cry it up’ with the cops and it didn’t work,” Jon says. “They said, ‘You have to leave.’ “

Kate Gosselin made a not-so-surprising admission on Live with Regis and Kelly: Her marriage to Jon Gosselin is over.

When Regis pressed her about the possibility of a reconciliation if Jon wanted to try again, Kate refused to answer. Regis pushed the issue a bit further, stating that he thought the marriage could be saved. Kate’s response: “I can’t say that I think you’re right, at all.”

I guess Kate’s first clue that it’s time to stick a fork in the relationship was Jon’s new lady love. That’s not usually a good sign.
