Britney Spears would like to marry for the third time within the next five years.

“In five years I would like to be married and have a father figure for my kids,” Britney told Glamour magazine, before describing her ideal man: “Someone who is a provider and can be really stable. It’s hard doing it on your own.”

Sounds like she is looking for a Daddy for her and her kids.

Britney Spears may be on the comeback trail, but that doesn’t mean she will be able to control her own financial affairs. Her dad, Jamie Spears, will continue to do so after being granted permanent conservatorship by a Los Angeles judge yesterday.

Hope she and dad get along well, since he will be in the driver’s seat as far as her fortune is concerned. She must be feeling like she’s Daddy’s Little Girl all over again.

Miley Cyrus won’t get insulted if you compare her to Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan.  She blabbed to German reporters recently about what a compliment it is be compared to these two successful ladies. At least she hopes that is the case:

I just think that they are super successful, and hopefully when I am compared to them, it’s career-wise because they have all been super successful and had amazing careers.

Someone should tell Miley that having to make a comeback before the age of 30 is nothing to be proud of.

Britney Spears’ dad, Jamie Spears says that his daughter has decided to leave Los Angeles and move back home to Louisiana. She was only staying in LA so that she could be with her kids.

I guess now that she has visitation rights, it’s time to move across the country away from them.  I guess it’s a celebrity thing.

Britney Spears will finally have her day in court on charges that she violated California state law by driving without a valid driver’s license. She could have made all this go away by accepting a deal of a year’s probation and a $150 fine but Brit showed what a Brainiac she is by deciding to go for broke and have a jury trial.

“Womanizer,” the first single from Britney Spears’  new album,  Circus, made its debut on New York radio station Z100. You can check it out here.

Brit wore a black wig and played a waitress during the shoot. I guess if the whole singing thing goes South, she can start a whole new career slinging hash at a truckstop near you.
