The National Enquirer is reporting that Angelina Jolie has put her foot down and told partner Brad Pitt that his mother can’t move in to help him care for the couple’s children while Angelina is working on her new film. Angie’s take on things is that she took charge of the brood while Brad was filming in Germany recently and that he should step up and do the same while she is filming “Salt.” Jane Pitt has been told that the couple don’t need her help. Ouch.

Brad was nominated for his role in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which picked up a total of 13 Oscar noms. He described the Oscar nods as being “”a great honor for the movie.”

After a turbulent year, Britney Spears is back on top….of USA Today’s Celebrity Heat Index. Britney was exposed, so to speak, more than anyone else in the media for 11 weeks. Angelina Jolie came in at No. 2, Jennifer Aniston was third, and Brad Pitt was in fourth place.

Readers wanted to see more stories about Reese Witherspoon and Patrick Swayze, while Paris Hilton and Anna Nicole Smith dropped out of the Top 10.

Brad Pitt made an appearance on the Today show and dished about his relationship with partner Angelina Jolie. He says he might consider tying the knot with her if it’s important to their kids later on.

I wonder if that’s so he has someone to blame if the whole thing goes south after the nuptials….hmmm……

Angelina Jolie has blabbed to People  that her partner, Brad Pitt, convinced her that getting pregnant was the right thing to do. Before Mr. P. came along, she just didn’t feel OK about it, apparently. (Too bad she didn’t have the same opinion about being a homewrecker…)

Angie gushes, “I wouldn’t trade that experience for the world. It taught me a lot about life, just the process of it, and now we have three other beautiful children that wouldn’t otherwise be here.”
