Ashley Tisdale is busy telling everyone who will listen how turned off she was when she had to lock lips with teen heartthrob Zac Efron on The Suite Life of Zac and Cody.

“That was disgusting actually. It was! He’s my best friend and so he’s like my brother and I’ve never been attracted to him cause he looked like he was 12 when I met him so…”

Being bestest friends with Efron’s galpal Vanessa Hudgens only made things more weird:

“So when I had to kiss him in the episode I’m like first of all it’s my best friend’s boyfriend and it’s awkward enough. But it’s like kissing your brother almost… But he made it really fun and comfortable.”

Yep, Ash, we feel your pain, ‘cos Zac is truly hideous, but that’s why you get paid the big bucks…..Is that what they mean by “suffering for your art”?

Despite the fact that Ashley and Jared had been photographed frolicking on the beach in Hawaii this past week, by the time the couple arrived back in Los Angeles, Ash was not in the mood to be noticed. She attempted to hide from those pesky shutterbugs by hiding behind her Louis Vuitton bag – not that it did much good.

The paps ended up getting pics anyway, which makes me wonder: If the reason you went into show biz was to get people to pay attention to you, why do you suddenly decide you want/need/deserve privacy after you have achieved some level of success? You can get back to me on this….
