Peter Cletus Hippolyte, a mystic Winehouse met in St. Lucia, is the man for the job, it seems. Hippolyte is not going to be helping Winehouse reconcile with Blake Fielder-Civil, because he is still struggling with addiction.

“She should take time.” Hippolyte told News of the World. “If Blake cleans up then things will be alright if he can make her happy. But I told her I will not use the spirits to help her rush into anything just for the sake of it.”

Sounds like a good plan to us.

Amy Winehouse is suing former hubby Blake Fielder-Civil’s mother for £50,000 because she sold a letter that Amy had written to Blake while he was in prison.

Amy is alleging that former Blake’s mother, Georgette, violated copyright laws by her actions. “Amy was furious the private letter was used to make money,” a source said.

Suing Blake’s mum won’t endear her to the Fielder-Civil clan, especially since she has been professing that she still loves the dude.

Amy Winehouse knows where to go for advice: To her teen goddaughter. The singe looks to Dionne Bromfield, age 13, for guidance when she needs someone to talk to.

Amy blabbed about the relationship to The Daily Star: “Me and Dionne are best friends. We’re not just godmother and daughter, we’re best friends. All I do with Dionne is play guitar with her and sing with her. And kiss her and cuddle her.”

“All the time I’ll come to her and say, ‘Dionne, I don’t know what to do about this.’ She’ll say something that makes complete sense.”

Too bad Dionne doesn’t have enough sense to tell Amy to find someone her own age to dump on.

Blake Fielder-Civil, the former Mr. Amy Winehouse, is back in rehab after breaking the terms of his parole by failing a drug test.

A source blabbed to The Mirror, “”He has made much of trying to get his life back together but he’s back to his bad, old ways. Amy is so much better off without him.”

“Blake goes on about Amy’s past drug habit but he needs to take a good, long look in the mirror himself.”

And we thought Amy was the bad influence in that relationship…..go figure.

The marriage of Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil is officially over. A judge read out the decree in the matter of “Fielder-Civil B. vs Winehouse A.J.” at a Family Court hearing on Thursday.

Neither Winehouse, 25, or Fielder-Civil, 27, was in Court. The divorce is completely finalized in six weeks and one day. Winehouse and Fielder-Civil were married in Miami in 2007 but Fielder-Civil filed for divorce earlier this year on grounds of Winehouse’s infidelity.

Fielder-Civil described living with Winehouse as “intolerable,” which for some reason doesn’t surprise us here at Glamorati. Winehouse admitted to cheating on Fielder-Civil and did not contest the divorce.

Amy Winehouse’s mother has an interesting take on why her daughter has been drinking. She’s bored over in St. Lucia. Amy’s drinking has been blamed on her less-than-riveting performance at a jazz festival earlier this month.

Janis Winehouse gave an interview to Closer magazine in which she said,

Two of her closest friends are going over to try to calm her down a bit. I think it will make a big difference because in the past few weeks she’s been bored. Amy knows her drinking ruined the performance. Of course her band is frustrated, but even they can’t stop her. It’s just another one of Amy’s addictions getting the better of her. It’s yet another demon she has to beat. She came off drugs on her own so I know she’ll stop drinking too much too. It has to be her decision though, no one else can stop her.

If Amy’s that bored, maybe she should get a hobby to fill in her time…..

Amy Winehouse’s father, Mitch, has pulled back from the singer, saying that he can’t watch her go through another addiction. “I’ve decided to distance myself, and whatever happens, happens. It’s her life. It’s her career. It’s her decision.”

Recent reports have Amy starting off her day with booze, so it’s likely that she has traded her addiction to drugs for alcoholism.

Amy Winehouse, who seems to have trouble understanding the simple phrase, “It’s over,” has written a new song for estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil. She wrote, “The Ultimate Betrayal” after reading reports that Fielder-Civil has impregnated 31-year-old Gilleen Morris after meeting her at a rehab facility in Sheffield.

A source told The Sun:

“Amy still felt they had something between them and that one day they’d be together again,” an unnamed source told them. “But this news destroyed her. She sat down with her guitar and started writing ‘The Ultimate Betrayal’. She keeps repeating the line: ‘Blake a baby, no, no, no.’ It’s very haunting.”

In a case of the pot calling the kettle black, Amy Winehouse has banned Dionne Bromfield from recording a duet with Pete Doherty. The 13-year-old, who is also Winehouse’s goddaughter, will be stepping into the recording studio to cut her debut album on Winehouse’s label shortly and Doherty will not be part of the project.

“Pete and Dionne get on like a house on fire, but Amy’s really protective of her and doesn’t think a duet with Pete is the right thing to do at the moment,” an unnamed source told The Mirror. “The last thing she wants is for Dionne to make the same mistakes she did.”

“Pete is gutted but he understands. As soon as he has sorted himself out and Dionne’s made more of a name for herself a duet is definitely on the cards.”

Amy Winehouse will be at the City of Westminster Magistrates Court on March 17 to answer to assault charges. The BBC is reporting that Winehouse was questioned by police on Thursday and has been charged with common assault.

Winehouse hit a fan on September 26 last year at the Prince’s Trust End of Summer ball. The woman had the nerve to ask if Winehouse would pose for a picture with her and got a punch in the eye for her trouble.
