Daddy who?

Remember musician Bill Hudson of “Hudson Brothers” fame? Didn’t think so. Well, he was married for a short time to Goldie Hawn, siring superstar Kate Hudson and her bro Oliver. Kate and Pops have had an on-and-off relationship over the years and now Dad wants it back on. Why? Cause Katie, currently caliente with Alex Rodriguez, the Yankees Lighting A-Rod, has a three-year-old half sister, Lalania, that Bill Hudson wants her to meet.  

Chances are slim Bill, especially when you use Life & Style magazine to relay this wish to your daughter, who apparently cut you off when she learned in 2006 that she had a baby sister. 

“Katie, I love you with all my heart, and I beg you to come home and meet your baby sister. There’s only a two-year difference between Ryder [Kate's son] and Lalania, and it saddens me that they haven’t once played together,” he told the magazine. Good luck with that.

Poor Madonna has been dumped by Alex Rodriguez in the wake of his steroid use scandal. Not only is Madge a resident of Dumpsville, but Alex added insult to injury by returning to his ex-wife, Cynthia.

Madonna, understandably, is not at all pleased.

Madonna and Alex Rodriguez are reportedly looking for a love nest to share. An unnamed source who knows the scoop about Manhattan real estate blabbed to the National Enquirer that the twosome have been looking at some modest little homes in the $30-$60 million range.

Reps for both have denied that they are looking at properties, either separately or together. These would be the same folks that also denied that Madge and A-Rod had something going before either one filed for divorce. You do the math.

People is reporting that Cynthia Rodriguez is pleased with her divorce settlement from NY Yankees player Alex. Cynthia filed for divorce in July and had asked for the couple’s $12 million shack in Florida, as well as a portion of A-Rod’s earnings during their marriage. (Alex was paid $28 million this season.)

An unnamed source had the following comment:

Cynthia had hoped to mend their differences and stay married, but when she saw that was not possible because too much had transpired between them, she wanted to settle everything and move on.

This is just a polite way of saying she got P.O.’d and told A-Rod that he could either settle things privately and pay her a big chunk of change or they could slug it out publicly in court. Alex made the right choice and Cindy is laughing all the way to the bank.

Alex Rodriguez is defending the divorce action brought against him by wife Cynthia. In documents filed with a Florida court, he is asking that the terms of the couple’s pre-nuptial agreement be upheld.

The soon-to-be-ex Mrs. Rodriguez has asked for equitable distribution of all assets accumulated during the marriage. She wants to continue in the style to which she has become accustomed.

He has also asked that all reference to his alleged infidelity be stricken from the record because they are “immaterial and impertinent.” I bet Cindy doesn’t think so.

The soon to be-ex Mrs. Alex Rodriguez, Cynthia, has filed court documents requesting “any reports you have received from a detective, investigator or any other person based upon surveillance of your spouse,” according to the New York Post.

This is a rather interesting development, folks. If Cindy has nothing to hide, then why would she care if A-Rod had her followed? Hmmm….the plot thickens.

Alex Rodriguez has apparently had trouble keeping it zipped before his alleged relationship with Madonna. According to Candice Houlihan, an “exotic dancer” who kept the slugger company for a whole two days during a road trip back in 2004, Cynthia is “doing the smart thing.”

New York Yankee third baseman Alex Rodriguez and his wife Cindy have announced their separation. Apparently, they have been having marital problems for the past three months.

The couple had stated that they were “thrilled” to welcome their second child, a daughter named Ella, into the family on April 21 of this year. They also have one older daughter.

Rodriguez had no comment for reporters on the split or on his wife’s alleged relationship with musician Lenny Kravitz. As for A-Rod, he has been romantically linked to Madonna in recent weeks. (Mind you, if I was seeing her, I would not be admitting to that either.) It’s all a big mess, and when Mr. and Mrs. R. start fighting over discussing how to divide his massive fortune ($28 million in salary alone, plus endorsements, and property), the knives are sure to come out.

Adding to the Rodriguez saga is his boss, George Steinbrenner, who is just a little ticked off at his team’s on-field slump. He was quoted in the New York Daily News as saying, “…Maybe a little less outside distractions and a little more concentrating and they’ll start hitting better.” Somehow I don’t think the breakup is going to help Big A focus better while playing….
