Mickey Rourke to Play Hit Man in Next Film Role
Mickey Rourke has been signed to play the lead character in the upcoming film, “Ice Man.”
He will be taking on the role of Richard “Iceman” Kuklinski. The choice of Rourke for this role is an interesting one: Mickey certainly has had his ups and downs over the years, and Kuklinski, who died in prison in 2006, was certainly someone his mother would have been proud of.
Mr. Kuklinski claimed to have murdered 50 vagrants before his 18th birthday. He then went on to take out 150 folks for the Mafia.
Now we know that you are supposed to find something you’re good at and find a way to make money at it, but sheesh…..Rourke is hoping this will be his defining role – something like what Raging Bull did for Robert DeNiro. We still think that Rourke was pretty hot back in the day when he made 9 1/2 Weeks.
