MC Hammer, “novelty rapper” from the early ’90s, has joined the ever growing list of former celebs who need money who have decided to star in their own reality TV show. “Hammertime” will be broadcast on A&E and will follow Mr. Hammer (born Stanley Burrell) , his wife, five children, and two nephews as they go about their lives in California.
MC had this to say about the series:
“You’re going to see an American family in the current environment of America.”
“College. High school. Junior high school. All the things that come along with family in day-to-day life, with the caveat that their dad is also a world-renowned recording artist.”
