Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Get Oscar Nods
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have each received Oscar nominations.
Brad was nominated for his role in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which picked up a total of 13 Oscar noms. He described the Oscar nods as being “”a great honor for the movie.”
Angelina was tapped for her role as a mother whose son goes missing in Changeling. The actress acknowledged that working with director Clint Eastwood “was a reward in itself that will last me a lifetime.” She went on to say, “To receive a nomination from the Academy on top of that is a privilege beyond any expectation. It has been an exceptional year for acting, and I am honored to be in the company of these talented actors whose performances all deserve this recognition.”
The old “it’s an honor just to be nominated” thing……where have we heard that before? Oh, yeah, every year about this time.
