Oh, the irony of Alec Baldwin writing a book about parenting, but it’s true. The actor mentioned his latest venture in an interview for the July/August issue of Playboy.
It will be ironic for some people, but I’m going to write a parenting book. We’re at, not a crisis, but an awful place right now in terms of parenting. People are raising their children with the belief that we need to be friends with our children.
Those who heard Alec’s flip-out at his young daughter Ireland that was posted on the Internet wouldn’t have any illusions that he was trying to be any kind of a friend to her.

Why shouldn’t Alec Baldwin write a book on parenting? Personally, I think he really got dumped on unjustly. For his exwife to release a personal phonecall between Alec and his daughter was beyond cruel and probably criminal. He could have pressed charges against Kim Bassinger but I didn’t hear anything about that. UNFAIR. Totally unfair.
