TV’s Wonder Woman: I’m An Alcoholic
You have to hand it to actress Lynda Carter. She has publicly admitted that she went to rehab to get treatment for alcoholism and that she has now been sober for just about 10 years. She didn’t blame the stress of appearing as Wonder Woman in the series of the same name back in the ’70s for her problems. No whining, no pointing fingers, just the truth.
On the subject of what going through the process of getting (and staying) sober has taught her, the actress had the following comment: “The best measure of a human being is how we treat the people who love us, and the people that we love.” Truly a class act and still a Wonder Woman.
