Spears, Federline Settle Child Custody Case

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have reached a settlement in their child custody case, which spares them the ordeal of a trial next month. It also means that those of us looking forward to hearing the gory details of Lifestyles of the Rich and Clueless will miss out.

The money Brit spent hiring legal eagle Laura Wasser was apparently well spent, since Brit will get to spend more time with her kids. Here’s more on the story:

At about 8 p.m. PT, a final settlement in the Kevin Federline-Britney Spears custody case was signed. All parties have agreed to the following: Kevin will retain sole legal and physical custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James. Britney will continue to have visitation rights which may increase over time. The agreement will be presented to the court in the morning for approval by the commissioner.
