Reality Television Stars: Where are they Now?
It’s clear many audition to be a part of a reality television show to gain 15 minutes or more of fame. Some, go back to their own life in the real world after their 20-episode run is up. Others *cough* Omarosa*cough* , cling to their pathetic reality television sucking the life out of their careers like a leech. What are your favorite reality television stars up to these days?
David “Puck” Rainey – From the Real World, San Francisco, Puck was one of the characters you’d love to hate. He was uncouth and repulsed his castmates with his personal hygiene issues. So where is he now? Puck married in 2002 and has two sons. He’s appeared on an episode of “Cribs”. a few commercials, and even an Eminem video. Presently Puck is running both a motorcycle business and granite shop.
Justin Guarini – After coming in second to Kelly Clarkson on American Idol, people expected big things from Justin. It wasn’t meant to be. His record label dropped him due to poor sales and his movie “From Justin to Kelly” was just plain bad. Now he’s trying to revive his career by talking American Idol on the TV Guide Channel.
Kelly Perdew – As the second winner of “The Apprentice” Kelly was relegated to a basement office where he pimped out Trump water. Now that his tenure with Trump is over he’s hanging out in the webosphere developing social networking sites and also managing a venture capital firm.
Kendra Todd – Another winner of the Apprentice, after overseeing the progress of Donald Trump’s Palm Beach mansion, Kendra can now be seen on HGTV hosting the show “My House is Worth What?”
Richard Hatch – The first winner of Survivor probably isn’t doing much naked walking around these days. He’s doing time for tax evasion. Hatch has to serve out a 51 month sentence for failing to pay taxes on his million dollar prize.
Omaraosa – Even though most of us just would like for her to go away, reality bitch Omarosa has no intention of leaving television any time soon. She’s already appeared in Celebrity Apprentice, The Surreal Life and Fear Factor. Apparently people pay her for speaking engagements too but we can’t understand why. Oh and she got new boobs too.
Eric Nies – After appearing on the first season of The Real World, Eric went on to become a successful MTV V-J. Since then Eric has created a magazine which was bought out by Viacom, appeared in several workout videos and appeared on numerous reality television shows for MTV and VH1.
Ruthie Alcaide – We thought Ruthie was going to die that night she passed out from alcohol poisoning when she was a cast member for Real World, Hawaii. Fortunately she’s alive and touring the country lecturing on the evils of alcohol. She’s also in the process of recording a hip hop album.
Dat Phan – Much to the annoyance of his Last Comic Standing castmates, Dat won the competition. In addition to continuing on as a comedian, Dat has made numerous television and movie appearances.
Kaya Wittenberg – The former Temptation Island star has continued to model and make reality telvision appearances.
