Mindy McCready to go Back to Jail for Parole Violation

Country singer Mindy McCready will voluntarily surrender to authorities tomorrow and will serve a 60-day jail sentence in Tennessee for violating the terms of her probation for prescription drug fraud. Here’s what Mindy had to say about the matter:

I am working very hard to put all of this behind me as quickly as possible so I can get back to what I like to do most: sing, write songs, and entertain.

Mindy also thanked her fans (no sure how many of those she has left at this point) and said she wanted to regain custody of her son, Zander. Somehow I don’t think being jailed for a parole violation is going to help much, but good luck with persuading a judge that the kid would be better off with you, Mindy.
