Maureen McCormick Talks About Surviving Marcia Brady in New Book
Maureen McCormick of Brady Bunch fame, is the latest celeb to need money share her journey to a better life by writing a tell-all book. For those of you who can’t wait to read about Maureen dishing about dating Steve Martin (once) and not being kissed by Michael Jackson (no surprise there), the book is called “Here’s the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice.”
On her bro-mance with onscreen sib Barry Watson (Greg Brady):
“We couldn’t hold back any longer,” Maureen wrote of the young lovers’ first kiss during a period when the show was filming in Hawaii. “It was our first kiss, and it was long, passionate and deep. It was wonderful, too, though as we continued to kiss and press against each other so closely that we could feel each other’s body heat a part of me — a tiny part, admittedly — said to myself, `Oh my God! I’m kissing my brother. What am I doing?’”
What indeed? Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!
