Judge Gives Wesley Snipes Permission to Leave Country to Work
Actor Wesley Snipes has convinced a judge to allow him to leave the U.S. not once, but twice to work on upcoming film projects. The actor, who is currently appealing his conviction on tax evasion charges, no doubt wants to put away as much coin as he can if he ends up having to pay the $3 million in unpaid taxes, plus the whopping bill the U.S. government is sending him for the cost of prosecuting him.
Yup, Wes is now on the hook for another $200K to pay for the government’s work in trying to figure out his financial records. Snipes now has permission to go to London for three days later this month and to travel to Thailand for two months to work on “Gallowalker” and “Chasing the Dragon.” (No, I don’t make this stuff up…)
