Christie Brinkley’s Nightmare
Former Model Christie Brinkley, in the midst of a bitter divorce from hubby Peter Cook, described to the court that is was a “nightmare” to put on a brave face and throw a birthday party for 30 children after learning her husband was giving his personal assistant a lot more than dictation. (Doesn’t she has people for that?)
Brinkley’s description of her life with Cook sounded like something out of a Hallmark card – an old farmhouse “full of life, brimming with children’s music and art, and beloved pets.” (I’m getting a sugar rush just writing this!) She went on to explain that she tried to “spare” her two young children from the gory details of her marriage breakdown, including Cook’s expensive Internet pornography habit and his infidelity with the teen assistant. This explains why she wanted the trial held in open court with the media in attendance….
