30 Celebrities Who Didn\’t Get The Part | Deliggit.com…
\r\nWeve been talking a lot lately about celebrities who passed up roles for some reaso…
Some of these are worded improperly, making them false. Ashton Kutcher was denied the role of Batman because Chris Nolan didn’t believe he could be taken seriously because of his PUNK’D shenanigans. Not to mention Christian Bale was attatched to play batman with pior scripts, way before Kutcher was even on the map. What does that say about this article….
If Ashton Kutcher was turned down for whatever reason, it still means he didn’t get the job. So how is that wrong? The title of this article is “3o Celebrities Who Didn’t Get the Part.” It doesn’t matter the reason, Kutcher was turned down and therefore didn’t get the part.
If you didn’t understand that what does it say about you?
The Bourne Identity was published in 1980, so I don’t think the author had Brad Pitt in mind. As for the film version Pitt turned down the role to do Spy Game, if you believe imdb.
This is fucking stupid
haha i cant imagine kutcher as batman! that movie would have been shit as batman punk’d the scarecrow into thinking he was going to get fired from his job!
@tom totem:
if you read any of the books, then you should already know that the Bourne movies did not follow the books at all. So, if the movies were written with Brad Pitt in mind, I wouldn’t doubt that myself. However, I think Matt Damon was the right person to play Jason Bourne.
To Tom Totem: Maybe they are referring to the screenplay not the book.
I think Jessica Alba would’ve been a better Elektra than Jennifer Garner.

nancy: jessica alba would have done better than jennifer garner in any of garner’s role :p
bert: if you read carefully, it says that he “was turned down for” the role, not that he “turned down” the role, which means he was denied the role, not that he was so wanted but didn’t want to do the role. I mean, kutcher turning down batman? kutcher wouldn’t even be able to do the riddler!
Geez, was every actor in this universe considered for the role of Willy Wonka?
#3
That is the EXACT same thing I thought when reading this list.
Bet some of them regret their decisions now.
keanu Reeves Aragorn ??
OMG
Keanu might have never been Wolverine (thank God), Aragorn o Charlie Babbit, but he got to be Neo… a part Will Smith was considered for briefly. True story.
I doubt that Jackman was considered for DaVinci Code since Hanks’ production company acquired the rights in the first place.
How did Brad Pitt think he would make a good Willy Wonka?
Tom Totem -
I think they meant when The Bourne Series was re-written for the big screen.
Jim Carrey would have been a good Willy Wonka, but I bet He’ll act the same way he acted on Grinch, and giving the part to a great actor like Johnny Depp was the best decision the producers made.
On the behalf of all dark knights everywhere I want to personally thank Ashton Kutcher for turning down the Bruce Wayne/Batman in role in “Batman Begins. Christian Bale was perfect in the mansion and cape.
