10 Fun Celebrity Mugshots

The past few years have yielded many celebrity arrests. From drunk driving to smoking in the local drugstore, we’ve seen some surprising mugshots. This isn’t a new phenomenon, however. High profile people have been finding themselves behind bars for decades. Check out a look of past and present celebrity law breakers.

 

1. Vince Vaughn

In 2001 Vince Vaughn was arrested for public brawling in a bar fight in New Hanover county. He was arrested, fined $250 and ordered to stay out of bars. Friend Steve Buscemi who tried to break up the brawl ended up with the crappier end of the stick after he was stabbed several times and received a couple of hundred stitches for his efforts.

2. Shia LaBeouf

When heartthrob Shia LaBeouf is drunk he doesn’t set out to get laid or try and drive while intoxicated. No, the Transformers star lights up in a Walgreens and refuses to leave. Lamest celebrity arrest ever. But Shia does look happy doesn’t he? Jail is fun!

3. Macauley Culkin

Oh Kevin McAllister. You can outwit the bad guys, but not the police. One of the more surprising bits of celebrity news in 2004 was when Macualey Culkin was arrested for possessing pot and some controlled substances. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

4. Jane Fonda

Isn’t Jane Fonda badass? With her Power-to-the-People salute and the kickass look of amused anger on her face? Janes was wronged in 1970 at a Cleveland airport when she was arrested with over 100 vials of pills in her possession. Not to worry, they were either vitamins or legally prescribed drugs. 100 vials of legally prescribed drugs…yeah nothing funny going on here.

5. Tommy Lee

No, silly. That’s not Coolio. That’s a beaded and braided Tommy Lee after he was arrested in 2000 for assault and inciting a riot. After pleaing it all down to a simple assault charge Tommy was given a slap on the wrist probation.

6. Michael Lookinland

So of all the former Bradys who would be your first choice to be arrested? Greg and Cindy are the obvious choices, but no. Michael Lookinland, aka Bobby Brady, was the first - and so far only - former Brady arrest. Aren’t you just digging the pornstache?

7. David Bowie

Bet David Bowie was the most dapper dressed man in his Upstate New York holding cell after he and Iggy Pop were arrested together in 1970 for pot possession.

8. Dennis Hopper

Dennis Hopper was an uneasy rider in 1975 after he crashed his car in Taos, New Mexico and fled the scene.

9. Larry King

Way back when, before his current wife was old enough to drink. Larry King passed a bad check. Larry was quite the looker back then, eh?

10. Aaron Carter

This former Disney kid and teen idol isn’t exactly cultivating his squeaky clean image. Aaron Carter was arrested in February 2008 with a couple of ounces of weed. No big surprise here.
